It seems to be a trend these days for photography blogs to come up with a laundry list of tips to help you along with your photography. I can’t quite put forth the effort to come up with such a list so I’ll just leave you with one tip I rarely see being mentioned:
Tip 1: Don’t forget to turn around.
Whether you’re out exploring new places looking for untouched scenery, or you’re going downtown shooting at a familiar street, one thing you should not forget to do is to turn around and look at what’s behind you. Sometimes, the best photo opportunity happens where you’re not looking.
